This is an ongoing series started in 2009 utilizing historic photographs of unidentified women and soldiers. Newer works are based on hand embroidered Carte de Visite and Cabinet Card portraits dating to the 1890s.  Each face symbolizes a lifetime forgotten.  The compositions contemplate their identity and lost context.
