Frozen Alaskan Polar Bear
Textile taxidermy bear with distressed fabrics, composed mostly from vintage tea towels, including a late 1940s towel themed on WWII and Alaska and polar bears. This and rick rack details (a sewing embellishment found on many Alaskan Native garments) nod to the polar bear as a symbol of the North. Papercraft form made with pattern by Jonni Good. Paper clay nose, taxidermy-grade glass eyes.
